Winter may still be taking place, but we're already looking ahead to warmer days. If you're planning a wedding in the Spring months (late March to end of May), we have some inspirational ideas to help you plan the ultimate spring soiree. Not sure where to start? Don't worry! We've got you covered with a few pretty and fun ideas that you will absolutely love! Keep reading to see our list of inspirational ideas for your springtime wedding.

Pastel Floraled Heels

Pretty shades of pastels like lavender are a great way to add some color and play into the season. For wedding colors that are in neutral tones like back, white, or light brown, adding in small pops of color works incredibly well. It matches the seasonal vibe, and can illuminate your wedding day style. We are obsessed with these stunning lavender heels that feature butterfly accents and embroidered flowers!

Floral Bridesmaid Dresses

Florals for spring is hardly new, but it's still a classic and for good reason. It's pretty and timeless, and incredibly feminine. Worried this trend is overwhelming? Keep the floral pattern simple in a lighter shade palette for an understated and glamorous look that your girls will love. Simple is better with a patterned dress, and when done correctly it is absolutely gorgeous. Choose dresses in different styles, lengths, or cuts for a bridal party that will turn heads.

Greenery Installations

This is the ultimate statement piece for a wedding reception. Instead of one large lighting display or a chandelier, a large greenery installation is where its at. Lush pieces of plants, foliage, boho grass, and florals offer both a bohemian and spring vibe. Placing one inside a large tent surrounded with string lights will look like you're underneath the stars when the lights go down. Sounds incredibly romantic and who doesn't want that at their wedding?

Succulent Garlands

Much like the greenery installations, a big trend for spring will be more of a plant style design rather than just flowers. Succulent garlands can dress up your reception tables and can be hung on walls as accents and statement pieces. Faux creations are perfect for the environmentally conscious bride, and you won't have to worry about them starting to wilt like flowers. Your wedding decor will still be beautiful as well as highly unique.

Greenery and Floral Dog Collars

Incorporating your pets into your wedding day is always a good idea if you ask us. After all, they're part of the family! Floral and greenery collars for your pets are perfect for spring, and will spruce up your pets wedding attire. You can even take it to another level with floral leashes for the ultimate spring look for pets. Add in flowers that match your wedding colors, or even a few small pampas grass pieces. Your pets wedding day style will be the talk of the day!

Pastel Colored Cakes with Spring Accents

Pastels are always in for spring, and that includes your cake. Decorating your cake with embellished accents or dramatic details are a fun way to make your cake more of a decorative piece instead of just desert. We love this cake below that features pastel roses mixed with gold elements and white daisies. Real flowers are also a great choice. Have your florist to keep a few pieces of your wedding day flowers and ask for them to be incorporated on top of your dessert.

Rustic Bohemian Arches

For outdoor weddings that have a more bohemian feel, try a geometrical wooden arch. Rustic pieces can really amplify your outdoor wedding venue setting and can turn it into something extraordinary. Placing boho inspired florals and foliage are a fun way to dress them up and will photograph beautifully. If you're a bride who loves a more outdoor style or hippie feel, something rustic like this is the ultimate must have for your wedding.

Gold Geometric Centerpieces

Forget standard centerpieces for your wedding reception table decor. Geometrical shapes and creations will be big for spring this season, and add a unique flair to your tablescapes. We love these open gold and glass pieces in irregular shapes. Placing twinkle lights or little plants inside make turn these shapes into mini terrariums that guests can take home with them as souvenirs. These centerpieces are very decorative, so keeping other items on your reception table minimal will help them stand out.

Floral Pocket Squares

In an earlier post we mentioned that floral ties will be a big style trend for men, but for something a little more subtle, a floral pocket square is a great option. Colors that align with your wedding day colors or styles are perfect to add a small amount of spring into grooms wear for your event. It also adds a touch of glamour to a regular suit and tie without going all in if you're looking for more minimalism.

Pastel Watercolor Invitations & Stationery

There is something so pretty about a watercolor print. It's the perfect style for wedding invitations, giving them a beautiful and artistic design. For spring, watercolor prints of florals, leaves, along with handwritten calligraphy will set your wedding invitations apart. Wedding day stationery always works best when it's cohesive, so look for similar pieces in the same collection to use throughout. Looking to give your wedding invitations an upgrade? Add a matching envelope liner print! Your guests will love the attention to detail and it will surely bring a smile to their face when they receive these in the mail.
