Kate & Alex's Dreamy Downtown LA Wedding

Located in downtown Los Angeles, The Ace Hotel is an historic hotel that happens to also host a theatre, offering shows and events on a consistent basis with cool California vibes throughout. It was the chosen location for our featured couple this week, and it did not disappoint. Bohemian style and minimalism were woven together to create Kate and Alex's special day, and everything turned out stunning. Talented photographer Teri B was there to capture all of the magical moments on their wedding day, and we could not have loved her work more if we tried. It's all of the little details here for us. Delicate accessories like the ones shown above completed their looks and overall wedding day style. The bride stunned in an elegant white gown paired with a red lip and long flowing curls, while her future hubby looked handsome in a neural toned suit and matching red toned floral boutonniere.

Underneath the California sky and lush greenery, the beautiful couple exchanged their wedding vows as family and friends looked on. The venue was decorated with an array of boho inspired floral pieces that gave it a glamorous feel. Kate's colorful bouquet is so pretty, and the white ribbon tied around the end was perfection. The couple kept the other colors minimalist, with bridesmaids in white and the groomsmen in dark toned suits and red ties, and everyone looked incredible. The couple was cheered on while they kissed after being announced as husband and wife for the first time, celebrating their union.

Kate and Alex's reception set up looks as if it came straight out of a bohemian fairytale, and we are here for it! A Large pampas grass installation hovered over the main table, with similar pieces placed throughout the venue. White table runners with pink and red linens created beautiful tablescapes, and were made even prettier with matching colored pots and flowers. The couple sat at their head reception table smiling and soaking it all in as guests sipped cocktails and danced the night away. Don't they look absolutely stunning in the photo below? We can't get enough of their style and decor!

The couple wanted their guests to take photos of themselves enjoying the wedding to create a memorable photo guest book, leaving out a portable pink instant camera. We can only imagine all of the great guests photos that were taken to give the couple a memorable souvenir. The camera was just one of the many little details of their special day to make it a day to remember. Everything about their day was planned out perfectly, with nothing forgotten. Something we absolutely loved was the basket of little metal bells that had "ring the bell & wish them well" tags. How cute is that?!

We are obsessed with the above photo. Dreamy lighting, romance- it looks like something out of a movie. Being invited into Kate and Alex's special day as such a small part makes us feel so lucky, and seeing all of their beautiful photos will continue to inspire us. Their wedding looked nothing short of stunning, and we wish the happy newlyweds nothing but love and happiness for years and years to come.

The dreamy, smoky tone of this photo is absolutely gorgeous! For their wedding, Kate and Alex used these table numbers from our ADELLA collection for their guests to find their places. This design features our beautiful modern minimalist font and style that create an understated but glamorous look. These table numbers come in a few different sizes- 4x6" (pictured below), or 5x7" for the larger number templates. You can edit these cards to make them specific to your event, and if needed you can even add photos. For a cool and unique look, hand them upright on a cork board and add decorative boho inspired florals.
