Back in February 2020, our featured couple, Brenna & Mike, tied the knot in Ohio, near Akron in a lovely church ceremony with their family and friends in tow. Photographer Marissa Decker was there to capture all of the magic of the day, and she did such a wonderful job. A massive thank you to her for all of her hard work and for allowing us to view these photos. We are truly appreciative.

Before the event, the two of them spent time getting ready separately and did not have a first look beforehand. They both look fantastic as they get ready for their big day, and we can't wait to show you the rest of their wedding. Scroll along with us as we peek into their beautiful winter wedding.

Brenna looks absolutely radiant as she walks down the aisle. Her smile is electric, and she's absolutely glowing. You can see it on the guests faces as well as she passes them by, all smiles and teary eyes. Mike stood at their alter, anticipating her arrival, and although we weren't personally there to witness it, we can only imagine his mixture of feeling nervous but excited, as he waited for her to walk towards him and meet him at the end of the aisle.

Underneath the halo of lights from the church 's stained glass windows, the couple exchanged their vows with loved ones looking on. They held hands and listened as their priest performed their wedding ceremony and read passages from the Bible, anointing them husband and wife at the end. It was an especially sweet moment to see Mike hugging Brenna's father as he gives her away to her new husband before the ceremony. The couple walked down the aisle hand in hand, and guests made their way outside the church to cheer them on, everyone celebrating.

After the ceremony, the couple posed for a few quick portraits, just the two of them, and then reunited with their bridal party. Both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen wore black attire, and we love this for both a minimalist and winter wedding, keeping the colors simple but pretty. Not to be outdone, Brenna and Mike are equally as stunning, with the groom in a black tux and bowtie, and the bride in a gorgeous off the shoulder white gown, complete with a faux fur shawl- great for keeping warm and looking beautiful in the winter air. We love how they're looking at one another in the photo below. Big smiles, happy eyes, and loving glances.

How beautiful and elegant are their wedding details? The minimalist setting and romantic detailing of their reception are just perfect. The pops of red mixed in with white florals is eye catching, and we are obsessed with the candelabra style candle holders on the tables. It made for such a nice backdrop for their wedding reception, which looks like it was an incredibly wonderful evening. Their three tiered cake was decorated with delicate pink and purple florals, complete with a cute bride and groom topper, and the couple appear happy as they feed one another small bites. We have to say that some of our favorite photos are the ones where they're dancing and kissing, truly enjoying themselves. They make such a lovely couple, and it's fantastic how joyous the evening looked.

The newlyweds ended their evening dancing and celebrating as family and friends looked on in adoration. Their first dance as husband and wife looks incredibly romantic, and it puts a smile on our faces. Although we weren't there, we know it was a truly magical evening. We wish nothing but the best for them- cheers to the happy couple!
